Define
Define
Following the discovery phase including the development of initial ideas and a broad analysis of the design space we now start with a more focused ideation phase narrowing down the themes and opportunities to a specific conceptual design.

Ideation
Based on your initial ideas and the insights you gained through your explorations in the discovery phase start sketching a specific communication tool and/or service in the chosen design space. Use a big paper/poster to sketch your ideas by answering the following questions:
- How does the main mechanism of the overall communication concept work?
- Which physical objects are part of the communication? How do they work? What are their anatomy?
- What is the technology behind such a solution?
- What is the name of your new concept?
- What are the main features of your tool/service?

Scenarios
Use visual methods of storytelling to further define your favorite concept idea. Write down your speculative scenario in the form of a comic strip/storyboard. Use hand drawings or found footage picture material to create a lively usage scenario of your communication tool and/or service.

Conceptual Design
Summarize in a few sentences what your favorite conceptual design is about. Complement your short description with one or small series of meaningful images. Publish everything on one subpage of your blog’s group page.
