SANKT INTERFACE 2019
This year event includes a special Welcome address by Mag. Brigitte Hütter, Rector of the Art University and a keynote by the Net artist, curator, theorist, and musician Alexei Shulgin.
Shulgin launched the first online desktop exhibition in 1997 “Desktop is“ and its manifesto and also produced interactive works such as Form art (1997). Nowadays, Shulgin develops tangible objects and high-tech artworks in the project Electroboutique, in collaboration with Aristarkh Chernyshev. Both Shulgin and Chernyshev run the Elektromuseum in Moscow.
